“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him."
On Sunday, December 15, Associate Pastor candidate John Shirley will be teaching and preaching in view of a call to our church. Please be in prayer as this process unfolds and be sure to join us for Sunday School and worship.
Jesus is Lord
Jesus' life, death and resurrection demonstrates clearly that He is the Savior of the world. There is no other. Salvation comes from our Holy God, through Jesus Christ alone. A person no longer has to be under the bondage of slavery wondering if they have earned God's favor, if they will simply trust in Him. The Bible makes it clear that He will receive anyone who will call on Him.
Only true Christianity demonstrates that the One Holy God lovingly reaches down to sinful mankind through His gift of grace which He provided through His Son Jesus. He did this because it was His way of restoring us to have a personal relationship with Him. It comes down to whether one wants to trust religion made by man or a relationship made by God. The Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 2:8-10 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Jesus' life, death, and resurrection demonstrate clearly that He is the Savior of the world. There is no other. The Bible makes this clear in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people, and we must be saved by it.” If you have never trusted in the Savior Jesus Christ, call upon Him today.
