WOMEN'S MINISTRY

Matthew 20:26-28 (NIV) "... whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

SISTER 2 SISTER WOMEN'S MINISTRY - led by Cindy Phillips. The purpose of this ministry is to bring women together, fostering hearts for Christ through spiritual growth, encouragement, and service to others.

Monthly Sister2Sister Meeting – potluck meeting where all women are encouraged to attend. Typically the 1st Tuesday of each month at noon in the Community Center downstairs at the church

Weekly Bible Studies – feed your spirit and fellowship with other ladies at one of our Thursday Bible Studies. Two groups meet each Thursday – 10 am at the church and an evening study at a private home.

Dress a Girl Around the World – our ladies team together to produce girls’ dresses that are sent to mission fields around the world. Last year FSBC sent 350 dresses to Nicaragua, Cuba and Africa. Watch for upcoming kit creation and sewing days. Even if you don’t sew, there’s plenty of ways to help.

Hope Totes – contribute items to fill Hope Totes that include lap quilts, tissue, hand sanitizer, devotional books, lemon drops and many other helpful things needed by women facing the ravages of cancer.

Hope Pregnancy Crisis Center –help support this vital ministry partner by filling one of the Sister2Sister baby bottles with money annually between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. These donations help meet the needs of local women and men facing unplanned pregnancy decisions.

Operation Christmas Child – do you want to make a difference for a child in another country? Join in packing a shoebox, or two, or ten and impact the world.

Widow’s Ministry – a support group for widows. These ladies love adventurous trips.

In-home Ministries - fulfilling needs of our sisters unable to join us in-person.

Fellowships – Sister2Sister likes to have at least two events focusing on fellowship each year.
