Lead Pastor
John Shirey
John was commissioned to be FSBC's lead pastor on April 11, 2021. During the time of pastoral transition, he faithfully served as Associate Pastor beginning in January 2020.
John holds a Masters of Religious Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, Missouri. He has been in vocational ministry since college, teaching and serving in a variety of leadership roles.
When you get to know John you will realize his passion for God’s word, as well as his sense of humor, love of sports, and people.

Secretary
Kim Henry
Kim works in the church office as our administrative assistant. Nate and Kim faithfully volunteer in children and youth ministries at FSBC. They have been involved at FSBC since moving to Southern Utah in 2016.

Worship/Youth Leader
Robert (Robby) Kleber)
Robert is excited to join First Southern Baptist Church as its new Worship and Youth Leader. He earned a Bachelor of Music in Performance with an emphasis in guitar in 2013 and graduated from Denver Seminary in 2021 with a Master of Divinity emphasizing apologetics and ethics. Robby enjoys studying God’s Word in the original languages, swimming, exploring St. George, and spending time with the youth of the church.
